Your opportunity
This role will be to provide variety of corporate tax advisory and compliance services to clients. Your primary responsibility will be corporate tax advisory and compliance however you will be expected to be part of business development, ESR and a basic knowledge of the UAE VAT. Your responsibilities include:
- Advanced business development skills, preferably in large accounting firm including managing pursuit list, follow-ups, initial presentations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced technical knowledge of mature CT jurisdictions, preferably hands on practical experience of delivering in high performance teams on advisory, compliance, litigation or similar
- Advance knowledge of audit independence conflict protocols/procedures
- Advance experience of working with on-site and off-site support teams
- Advance ability to multitasking and cater to multiple requests either internal and/or external simultaneously
- Advance project management skills such as preparing and monitoring work progress trackers, responsibility matrix, scheduling status update calls, closure procedures
- Advance ability to train and develop a team to support on advisory, structuring, compliances etc.
- Advance skills to schedule and conduct technical sessions
- Advance skills to identify opportunities in the market
- Advance skills of establishing, retaining, and managing client relationships
- Intermediate knowledge of basic transfer pricing concepts and associated service offerings
- Intermediate knowledge of FATCA/CRS, CbCR, ESR, OECD Pillar 1.0 and 2.0
- Intermediate knowledge of legal / regulatory requirements in the UAE such as licensing requirements, permissible operations in the free zones
- Basic knowledge of customs and VAT in the GCC region
Key Attributes
- Having minimum of 4 to 6 plus years of post-qualification experience in a large accounting firm having multi jurisdictional presence
- Knowledge of UAE and international Corporate Tax
- Good command of written and spoken English
Experience & Education
ACA, ACCA, CTA, ADIT or equivalent professional qualification along with basic graduation in accounting.
