KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

  • Manage assurance teams to deliver sustainability-related engagements, including reports and presentations for clients to understand and address their ESG issues, develop ESG strategy, quantify impacts, and enhance public disclosures.
  • Providing clients with advice on the initial and continuing application of relevant industry reporting Frameworks, including TCFD, SASB, GRI, CDP and Integrated Reporting.
  • Supporting clients in identifying and assessing climate change risks & opportunities to inform climate strategy and overall business resilience.
  • Leading sustainability assurance procedures of clients' non-financial information reported in public disclosures using ISAE 3000 and ISAE 3410 accounting standards.
  • Develop and deliver training on ESG topics to clients.
  • Contributing to our business development activities such as proposal development, marketing, internal and external presentations on ESG trends.
  • On smaller ESG and risk advisory engagements, manage the delivery of the engagement from client acceptance/reappointment through to delivering the final report and archiving the completed files.
  • On larger ESG and any other risk advisory engagements, execute the delivery of the engagement by supervising engagement staff who are relevant and managing upwards to project leaders with ownership.
  • Assist in managing the financial aspects of engagements by organizing staffing, tracking fees and communicating issues to project leaders. 
  • Build strong internal relationships within the BDO Risk Advisory Services Division and across other Service Divisions.  
  • Develop people through effectively supervising, coaching and mentoring staff.
